The heat pump pumps moist, de-oxygenated air out of the home through exhaust air ducts.
The pump recovers energy in the air and delivers it to a domestic heating source – most often underfloor heating – and to a hot water tank. The tank supplies domestic hot water.
The effect of the heat pump is to enhance the effect of the ventilation windows so that more fresh air enters your home than would without a heat pump.
