No. Most of today’s double and triple glazing units can be fitted with a fresh air vent – but this does not make them comparable with our solution.
Other window types have vents in the window frame. They allow fresh air to enter directly from the outside.
The fresh air intake supplies air at the same temperature as outside air. The building’s heat source is therefore required to heat the fresh air once it has entered the house. Especially during the Nordic winter months, the cold outside air feels unpleasant, so people close the vent and shut off the ventilation function.
